    My old road song:

    Trailers for sale or rent. Rooms to let, fifty cents. No phone, no pool, no pets, I ain’t got no cigatettes. Ah, but six hours of pushin’ broom Buys an eight by twelve four-but room. I’m a man of means by no means King of the road.

    Slim, I know you’re still using dial-up, but you can download these YouTube videos with YouTube Downloader and enjoy them on your computer. I have hundreds on my hard drive.

    About the downloading, with dial-up it would take me hours to download one video. I’ve tried.

    For now VB, i’ll throw them out there and you can play them,

    I liked singing King of the Road at karaoke. Never had to look at the words on the screen!

    Now I remember. I’d start a download at bedtime and it’d finish during the night. Those were the days! Didn’t need a large hard drive back then!

    Belated Good Morning All!!

    I was discussing academics with my HS Senior and lost track of time.

    Slim, Had difficulty running the CD but discovered it was me and my computer not seeing eye to eye and not the CD. I did get the point about decreasing the treble. Plays pretty good!! And that might be an understatement! I’m going to pass it by our department’s resident musician who plays a mean guitar himself and see if any clips might attract a wider audience. You might get a contact.

    And I said “increase the treble” or the vocals get a little muddy at tim, espescially on the spoken word cuts.

    What iam proud of is that no one else had anything to do with the CDs productionI recorded ak but the kive stuff in my sturio apartnebt i even made the cover.

    Well Slim your not the only one stuck with dial up. Northern Vermont (especially the Kingdom) dose not have a lot of available wireless. My I.S.P. has wireless service, but not where I live. The NEK is a very good place to live, but we don’t have every thing.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonders….

    Have some sort of a cold or something, and needed to sleep, and first now feel like doing something. Still headachy and congested……ugh.

    Loved the songs, VB.

    Okay, let’s see…. Beem to the doc and the biopsy has been put on hold til after another blood check for PSA.

    Umm….. I’ve pretty much given up posting anything in the afternoon. Nobody is around very often then. I’ve posted stuff around 2:00 or a little later, and it would turn out to be the last post before the change at 1:15 AM EDT?

    But I do check once in a while!

    They are suppose to come out Thursday to repair some dsl wires or something.

    Sometimes I can log on, some times not.

    I can use the internet through my cell phone, but commenting is a bit tedious.

    @Shirttail Slim

    I’am a cancer survivor. The PSA test save my life. My doctor got my blood test results for PSA #’s and told me what I have to DO!!! At 7 o’clock when he called me at home, from his home I’am thinking ,wow, this is a first…. He said I want you to go see(call this #) and make an appoinment. I said ,what’s this all about, he said your PSA is 7.0. I said ya, so. He said how long do you want to live? I said 95+, Well you better call tommorow.

    Time for a few drinks, alot so I can sleep.

    Play their game plan, weeks later, I shook my DR’s hand and said THANKS for SAVING MY LIFE

    @ SWEETBILL & MontanaLady:

    It was the doctord decision not to do it today. He wants another PSA check done because it has been a good while since the last one, almost a year. But he isn’t very optomistic about it.

    @leakysqueaky:

    Hope they get you fixed up. I feel uncomfortable making the first post of the night. That is your responsibility…….. unless you’re at the casinp. :-))
