I had a throat infection and my throat was so sore and swollen that I could not swallow my own spit….doctor prescribed an antibiotic pill that was as large as my thumb…not fun.
Yeah, it’s the container right next to the pain reliever with the impossible-to-open lid, which is OK because once you hack your way through that is the impermeable membrane super-glued over the opening which requires Norman Bates to get through. Sigh.
That seems familiar. I once saw at a store a tool that was specially made to open blister packages—which was itself in a blister package. Needless to say they didn’t sell very many of them.
Sounds like I’m not the only one that has these sorts of difficulties. Used my powered chair today while shopping, made it MUCH easier to get things off the bottom shelf. (I can get down there, it is the getting back up that is almost impossible.) There’s been times I’ve borrowed another customer’s child to retrieve things on the bottom shelf, especially if it isn’t towards the front.

You don’t swallow them, you lift them.

Sounds about right. Seems they put the stuff I need at the drug store on the bottom shelf where I can’t get to it.

I’m annoyed with the vitamin tablets that are baby carrot sized.
