Finally!I couldn’t get into this forum most of tonight…and now everybody’s gone to bed.
The page would freeze, or time out… or sometimes I got that annoying message that the “queue is too full” and I should try later…well, it’s later…where did you go?
Meanwhile…Gosh, I’m so innocent…here I thought Nancy was so very lucky to have a friend who was kind enough to demonstrate exactly what she meant.I mean, how many times have arguments started just because there was a lack of clarity in some sort of communication?
Well…. Marjorie has completely eliminated the possibility of any argument with her dear friend Nancy over what she meant by “soppy wet pants”… am I right?Beviek would be kind to me in that way, wouldn’t you, Bev, dear? And while I have you…that picture with the pug who looks rather like a sea lion….reminds me that another friend told me, years ago,and very wisely…NEVER wish that more time had passed. One day you’ll wish you had made good use of every minute, and could have more.
And Dennis… not only did you post the picture I was going to post yesterday…But when I saw today’s strip I was going to tell you that you ought to stock the fabric Nancy’s wearing…it’s quintessential Ballard Street wear….
I see, though, that you’ve made some fine choices for your shop already.
I happened to be passing by Ballard Olde Bakery,Coffee, Tea & Sympathy Shoppe when the incident above took place.
At first I thought Marjorie was dissatisfied with the cappuccino combination that Nancy had ordered for her.
But noooo ! This was a heated discussion about the benefits of wearing adult-of-a-certain-age undergarments for those uncontrollable moments.
Nancy did not believe in wearing what she called “an adult diaper”. Marjorie, on the other hand, was a firm believer in better safe than sorry. She was trying to prove her point.
Followed closely by Nancy, showing Marjorie that it is indeed possible for her, Marjorie, to get an entire Cinnamon Dolce Light Frappuccino, including cup, in her mouth…
I will have to do some research. I have one that might be too young.I have this one in my home:.But maybe the Sherrif would prefer to rest his head on something like this:
We are open for business 24/7 except when I am asleep.

Will Nancy forgive her ? It all Depends !

the ingredients look iffy
so she read the fine printthe Kopi Luwak story
The Luwak (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) denizen of the coffee (kopi) plantations of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, eats only the ripest coffee cherries.
Unable to digest the coffee beans the Luwak graciously deposits them on the jungle floor where they are eagerly collected by the locals.
The stomach acids and enzymatic action involved in this unique fermentation process produces the beans for the world’s rarest coffee beverage.
when this flew out that did it!
