Can’t fault the kid for wanting to play Fun House, but … well, it wasn’t a 1988 game. And there’s no way to call it a double-level table.
It’s a bit weird to get so appealingly specific in a point of fannish devotion and then get the center of it off. Maybe it’s a tease on fannish specificity meant as an extra joke for pinball fans? Or maybe the strip got partly rewritten at the last minute?

I really loved this…made me smile and laugh. Didn’t do any research on pinball machines just enjoyed it for the pure pleasure of it. Creative and charming.
