Our first TV, back in the 50s, had a fuse on the back, which could be removed, rendering the TV inoperable. When my sister and I were old enough to be left home alone, but not responsible enough to go to bed at a decent hour, my mum would take the fuse with her.

I have a computer and an Ipad. I don’t need a smart TV. And, I’m saving money……..smart.

Apparently, if you have a ‘Smart TV’ that is hooked up to the internet, it monitors what you watch.
