Now if only they made antigravity cars so that we could fly 100 feet (30m) above the ground and have no need for roads and not have to worry about snow or flooding. Which brings up some interesting theoretical questions that perhaps lawyers could answer. 1: Would we still need drivers licenses? 2: would we need license plates and vehicle stickers?
We understand, of course, that these are fiction, and not a guarantee of anything; and that all Star Wars movies are set in a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, and have nothing whatsoever to do with us, or our future. ;)

Flash:Tags and stickers and frequent inspections, yes. Since the license is ID, we’ll need something that can be priced for the state.
