There is an Indian Summer and a Squaw Winter that refer to brief appearances of either the last season or the coming season-is there an analogue for spring-we can get some pretty nasty winter weather after the flowers have come out and the trees have started to bud. Reminds me of the old Hugh Harmon-Rudolph Ising Cartoon-I think it was titled Time for Spring.
