A single scene in the 1982 Jackie Chan movie Dragon Lord required 2900 takes too perfect. Polish hyper-realistic artist Mariusz Kedzierski was born without hands. In Miami, Florida, a 99-year-old woman woke up with a Kinkajou napping on her chest! Eeek!!
Very interesting story about the elderly Miami woman! I live here and somehow missed this story. I found the actual article here for anyone interested.
Martial Arts-wise, “Dragon Lord” was not one of Jackie’s best, although the final fight in the barn was one of his best, IMO. The film was pretty-much the beginning of his transition from martial arts movies to action movies with some martial arts in them.

As much as I like Chan, I’ve never seen that movie. What did he do wrong to get the 2900th take just right?

There’s a ukulele player here in Hawaii that has only one hand, and he’s quite good.

It’s just a shame when a lady has to wait that many years for the right kinkajou to come along…

I once met a woman with no hands, and I also currently know a one-armed man.

The best go-go dancer I ever knew was a beautiful one-armed girl from Indiana.

Supposedly Charlie Chaplin did 340+ takes of an actress saying “Flower, Sir?” before she got it right. The insane thing is that it was a SILENT MOVIE!
