like trump is the only politician that has ever done that – come on – 100% of them – it is all they do – spout off inane remarks and promises that mean nothing to anybody but those who are infatuated with them. there is no credibility in ANY of them when they are trying to get elected and MOST of them have no credibility after they are elected.do I sound bitter? – not really – it’s just politics in America over the last 60 and more years. mostly because people are so gullible with so little knowledge of our government that they think that all they need to do is elect the one who promises to ‘fix’ everything that is wrong and to give everyone the most ‘free’ stuff and that their candidate will somehow than make magic happen and we will all live in a wonderful world with unicorns and rainbows and everyone getting their own way in a utopia of perfection.
With any luck his teachers will teach him the proper debate format, with reasoned arguments and conclusions, and no shouting or denigration. And maybe he’ll be motivated to join a debate club later and learn new ways of thinking about things.
