Yesterday was nice and clear of snow. Today it’s back to snow. January ‘52 is looking a lot like April ’16 is around here. Key reason we don’t take our studs off until May, don’t trust that just because it’s spring and the snow has been gone for a bit that we won’t be getting a few storms in April. Or possibly June for that matter (it has happened before, though it was only enough to track a cat in).

Well, Schroeder had the ball, he just needed the victim. And we all know well who fit’s the bill, not to mention he was the closest person around too.

Well, what did you THINK he was going to do with it, Charlie Brown?

Do you kind of get the idea Schroeder should’ve been the pitcher on their baseball team? :)

And so, a life of intricately sculpted regrets takes first wing.

I can’t recall exactly, but there is a strip (later on) where CB asks Schroeder why he walks the ball out to him on the mound, instead of just throwing it out, and Schroeder replies something like: If the other team saw me trying to throw the ball out to you, they’d know they could steal 2nd base all day long.

I was going to say the same thing about Schroeder’s weak throwing arm, but you beat me to it!
