At least Charlie Brown didn’t hiccup the gun like he did a few days ago.

Those were the days. Mine came with a neat belt full of bullets that looked like they were suited for a .45.

Hope it was just a cap gun like my little brother had.

The snow from the last couple of strips melted really quick, didn’t it. Now its Shorts Weather for Shermy.

They were allowed to say ‘suck’ in the comics in the 50s? That’s odd.

Back in my day, me and my cousins used sticks as guns. It’s not that we were poor, we simply entertained ourselves more that way. And we made many toys out of paper. Our parents must feel very proud that we didn’t made them spent too much money on fancy toys.

Remember boys, as my Dad always reminded me, “An empty gun is always loaded!”
