This must be how the Redwood Empire Ice Arena (“Snoopy’s Home Ice” in Santa Rosa, Calif.) got it’s start.

That rink is too small for the world’s greatest hockey player.

I remember reading these strips in the fifties when they first came out in book form, in fact Charles M. Schulz is largely responsible for my learning to read. I love seeing them again, but the color just seems wrong.

…then fast forward to Hobbes giving up and going inside when Calvin describes on of their giant snowballs as “one of the molecules” of their huge snowman.

I have a shovel for light snow and a snow blower for that heavy, wet junk. As a teen and a young adult I’d break my back spending hours shoveling the heavy stuff. Now if it’s heavy I just grab the snow blower and let it do the hard work. A small drive will take a few minutes to maybe an hour to shovel the light stuff vs. three to four hours minimum for the heavy stuff. And you don’t break your back shoveling light snow.
