Ask a dumb question, Sherman, get a wise-cracker answer.

That would have been a nice home for Woodstock. Too bad he wasn’t born until much later.

Doesn’t Charlie Brown know that most birds can fly?

I have read these beginning strips for a while now and I’m amazed how peanuts evolved. When I learned to read i took to reading the newspaper and especially the comics. I loved Peanuts and Charlie Brown was my hero. I felt sorry for him and wondered why the other treated him mean. Linus was his wise best friend. Snoopy had become the cool beagle who had real and imaginary adventures. Probably the most popular comic strip in America. I read it for years and didn’t quit until near the end. looking back, an amazing comic.

It also doubles as a cat feeder. He doesn’t like birds.
