There was an episode of The Odd Couple where Felix invents trading cards for kids who don’t like sports: “Great Moments in Opera No. 72: Madam Butterfly commits suicide.”
I’m surprised Schroeder could bear to part with Beethoven. Trading Bach, Brahms & Mozart/Tchaikovsky would have been more in character imo (or was this before his obsession with Beethoven began?).

Three Hall of Fame players for three of the greatest composer who ever lived sounds like a fair trade.

If Charlie gets lucky he can soon add a Chopin, Dvorak, Sibelius and Ravel to his collection.

They were quite the double-play combo, Bach to Beethoven to Brahms; “Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble.”

Just don’t ask Charlie Brown to give up a Joe Shlabotnik card.

Just traded away a few million in $ in baseball cards.

Not quite a fair trade. One of Schroeder’s is just a Bach-up…

What? No Joe Shlabotnik!
