Strangely enough, there’s a parallel to music and cultures. The bagpipes were often the first instrument European cultures had, until they moved on to other, indoor (and quieter) instruments. Only the Scots and the Irish held onto the pipes. Kind of like this comic strip arc and Linus ending up the only one to keep the blanket.
And in outing Schroeder, Charlie Brown takes that first self-loathing step out of the closet, one which many years of therapy will do little to resolve . . .
