Got a new foster kitty yesterday

Her owner took her to the shelter because, and this is a quote from Gina, the intake lady, “I don’t want her any more”. Nikki is 17 and a really big kitty. She was terrified at the shelter and PetCo, which is why we have her. She hid under the hassock for about 30 minutes then came out, climbed up onto my chest and went to sleep. She LOVES having her tummy rubbed. She reminds me of our Dead Molly in her personality.

Oliver…those other cats are leading you astray. Even Woof.

@Queenofamerica. She Looks like a ‘love bunny’. Bet just the right forever home will come along pronto. Thank you for having her to foster.

QueenOld kitties are the best. They like to cuddle more, don’t drag in stray snakes anymore and like to watch tv.3 weeks to 20 years is too short a time.Here’s to The Late Great Toshie!

Only 15.25 hours this past year. Next year I’m going to do better.

The shelter actually has 80 active volunteers. My 15.25 is nothing compared to some. I did get recognized for adopting four birds this year.

I have just the one volunteer t-shirt, but i have several blood donor Ts.
