PolsixeBack in the ’80s, Canada had a 6 to a side volleyball league requiring a minimum of two women per side, teams by provinces (Maritimes together, Ontario divided into two to even the population a bit), and it produced some very good games – even got “south of the line” TV coverage. Also some proof that the women were as good as the men.

More violence. Let the first baseman block the bag. Lots of collisions will bring out more fans because in America, violence sells. Am I wrong?

Make the ball a little bigger, bring the bases a little closer, pitch underhand, have a minimum 2 women on each team, beer coolers in the dugout….
