Awww a doggie! The cats may have a new friend!

Has Burt got a hand (or about to put it) on the dogs shoulder, consoling his doggie friend, when he’s telling the boys they’re being uncool?

Bea knows what a dog is, and isn’t frightened! Instead, with those huge paws she whips out an Earl Grey tea for him! And the dog just loves her for it. I think a friendship is in the making.

The boys and their information on dogs is uncool(in front of the dog) but hilarious, especially Puck with the " shape shifter" chart!

I never knew that dogs and cats liked Earl Grey. It looks as if Captain Picard’s preference has gone cross species!

Bitey enemy? That’s pretty funny.

AND, btw, as they are a Scottish breed (IF I’m correct about this character), how fitting the Earl Grey is! Well done, Georgia! Your new characters are every bit as entrancing as your “family.”

Sorry, one more thing….if anyone questions this (presumed) BC’s needing a “calming influence,” not all BCs are frenetic Frisbee- and ball-chasers. Ours have mostly been "companion’ level: they want their people, their food, their people, their comfort and their people. In that order. When one of ours had the great misfortune to make contact with a squirrel, he gently brought it to us and laid it down, looking at us for all the world as if asking us to “fix” it. So, yes, this dog could well want some soothing. Sweet tea and a good companion are definitely called for.

The first time I read this, I didn’t really notice the expression on Trevor’s face when Beatrix lies on his head and offers him tea. So loving! They are meant to be best friends.

Beatrix is being both loving and careful. As a former stray, she obviously knows some dogs are dangerous. So she jumps on the dog’s head where he couldn’t reach her, looks into his eyes, sees that he’s gentle and friendly, a good guy, and then she offers tea and friendship.

I love, love, love the “shape shifting” accusation! It makes a weird sort of sense.

The kitten must have become a teen already!

Ahh that Beatrix and the dog are British I’m Shure of it
