And here you have the problem with medical MJ. All a stoner needs to do is shop till hi finds Dr Feelgood and gets a script for his hangnail. How do you balance that against the folks who get actual therapeutic value from it? It’s a real problem, consider Elvis and Michael Jackson.
Must be in one of those liberal states that thinks its okay to nullify federal law so long as its them doing it and not the conservatives states nullifying federal law.
As I said in my earlier comment: Isn’t that the problem with most drugs?I think that you used an old stereotype to characterize people that smoke pot. Now, I do grant that the pot available is not the pot of 40 years ago when I first smoked. However, the use of the drug does not have the dire consequences that you portend. Abuse of the drug surely might. Again the same may be said of alcohol, codeine, opiates, or almost any other stimulant or sedative.BTW: there was time that I would smoke weed on a daily basis. Much as one would have their drinks after work. I was gainfully employed the whole time, in fact I retired from my job after 39 years. Through that time I had several promotions and commendations for my work. I never used while at work. I must confess that I did drive while intoxicated/high. However, I figured out that was wrong and dangerous and quit it. I never handled a firearm while high or intoxicated. Oh, and I am a fiscal, and to some degree, a social conservative. That there are people that fall into the category you ascribe to is no doubt. But those people would be trash even if they never used.

I thought it was funny, and I’ve smoked pot for 45 years. But then, my brain tumor took my sense of balance, not my sense of humor…

I’ve seen the people that sell this stuff in stores. Trust me; this is a pretty decent portrayal.
