I think Beni’s smart hammer may be a good thing, Dill: you can stuff the splinters in the Otterloops’ mail slot.

It finds broken things. And breaks them if they’re not broken.

But it looked like a nail.

Kinda like Mjölnir (Thor’s hammer), except for big fancy sticks.

By the way, I love this arc. Almost a picaresque journey as Alice treks to her playdate with Narna (The Chronicles of Narna: The Hammer, the Switch, and the Cart herd??)

So how did Beni come into possession of Thor’s “back-up piece”? Not that it makes any difference to Dill’s big fancy stick: Rest In Pieces.And the journey continues….
