Today’s strip is from May 14, 1981. Two weeks later, on Friday, May 29, we saw the last strip with Binkley’s old, weird, bespectacled appearance.
And a little bit over a week later, on June 8, 1981, we see for the first time the version of Binkley that we know:

Wearing a dress to football practice offers no protection these days. Coaches wanting to keep their jobs will not dare object to players wearing “self-assigned gender”-appropriate clothing.
I miss M*A*S*H. Am surprised they aren’t rehashing it like they’re doing every other dumb show that doesn’t deserve reviewing, let alone redoing…
