My husband & I watched an old B-grade movie Saturday evening. It listed the cast “In Order of Appearance”, then it listed the crew “In Order of Appearance”. We really didn’t know what to do with that information.
In relation to Opus’s rant in the 2nd panel, CGI and voice imitation software are getting close to the point where you won’t be able to tell a real human actor from a computer generated one.
So, let me just “get real” for a moment: here is this pen-and-ink or (nowadays more likely) CG penguin complaining because in a fictitious parody movie he’s credited as a “special effect,” and we’re supposed to get all emotional over this?

Credits take longer than the movie when they list “Filled out the 10-40’s” and “swept up after the cast party”
