Breathed was, and should be, condemned for this one comic – it would have been just as good to state that Steve had spiked the punch with grain alcohol without suggesting that Steve was committing attempted mass homicide – and suicide, as he apparently also drank the punch himself!
It’s apparent that Steve is deplorable in so many ways – but I never thought he was that utterly stupid as well.
Come to think of this – why didn’t Breathed edit this one?!
Aside from Berke’s shocking error about kinds of alcohol, poor Yaz has clearly undergone a traumatic dating experience. She may, as a result, grow up to be a deadly maneater….
“Kidded” is too benign a word. He should have used “taunted”, “teased”, “made fun of”, or any number of other words that convey the mean-spirited nastiness of her classmates.

For you amateurs out there: grain alcohol is what people drink, wood alcohol is poisonous and extremely dangerous if drunk.

Nobody saw any of it as they went blind from the wood alcohol.

Let’s hope this poor girl has a better future than her past.

The antidote for having drank wood grain alcohol is to drink grain alcohol. Just in case it happens to you.
