Steve’s client could only recover the cost of, at most, one pure bred poodle dog. The cost of lawyers to litigate this matter would buy a whole kennel full of poodle dogs. This is a matter for Small Claims Court.
Nope . . nope . . nope! Lawyers win no matter who wins the suit.
The counter-suit would be against the litigant, not the lawyer working for them . . . and the counter-sued litigant would need a lawyer to defend them – and would have to pay that lawyer.
Lawyers always win!
(It may have something to do with who made the rules in the first place. Just maybe!)
