I always likes this arc.

I assumed that this was based on the Bernhard Goetz case, but it seems to predate it by almost a year.

I tried olive loaf because of this strip-the horror, the horror.

They had it coming….. street mimes…. low rung of the cultural ladder.

I like that hundreds praied the mystery man.

We’re in peak Bloom County. Not specifically this story arc, but everything produced in this couple of years.

How many admire the Olive Loaf Vigilante for taking out six of those yucky Street Mimes?

I remember many decades ago a show I was watching, don’t remember which one, but the comedy/variety type. Anyway, guest stars were the Adam-12 guys! So this one bit opens with them in the patrol car, and the calls coming over – "One Adam Twelve, One Adam Twelve — " and some problem somewhere. One of them will start to move, and the other will shake his head or put a hand on the others arm, so they’re doing NOTHING. Finally, one more cal for Adam 12 comes over the radio and the one says, “Boy, I’m sure glad we got switched to Adam 11!”

My question is: was the Olive Loaf a loaf of bread or an uncut deli sandwich meat?
