What no pro-gun person wants to admit; Australia after a gun massacre (35 dead and 18 seriously injured) in April 1996. Passed gun reform laws on Semi-automatic and pump-action shotguns and rifles were banned; a tax-funded firearm buyback and amnesties saw over 700 000 guns surrendered from an adult population of about 12 million. There has NOT been a mass shooting since.

The conservative Prime Minister knew and did lose his role. He is proud of his accomplishment and today is considered a hero.

Just look at the real numbers of people killed in the United States annually by guns as compared to every other country in the world and you can see the insanity. Or perhaps your bias will not allow you to see the insanity.

And the second Amendment was written in 1770’s when people hunted to eat, were in State Armies during a period of Revolution, and weapons were muzzle loaded. Nothing compared to the weapons used today in mass shootings.
