Morning fellow vagabonds. Sorry to be away from the Village for so long but, as I was telling Slim earlier, my boys went back to school this week and that has turned my schedule topsy-turvy. Being teenagers thay like to sleep in during the summer, an inaction to be approved by all sane parents. Now they have to be up by 5 and that rearranges our whole day, including bathroom schedule, etc. I have almost finished adjusting to the new reality, I think. Anyway, I haven’t been awake at this hour or had time to post at other hours.

I expect I’ll be back to being more regular now. Miss the village when I can’t pop in for a visit.

SweetBill, I don’t mind the calendar turning, we’re leaving Tuesday afternoon for a leisurely drive to Seattle and then a week on a cruise to Alaska. We’re going with both of my brothers and their wives - a week of sibling togetherness for the first time since we were kids! Hold my place in the dining room, would you please?

Hi, Vagabonders……our first night in about 2 weeks in being able to view the skies……in about an hour we saw 4 satellites and 10 meteorites!!!!! woo hoo!!!! and they had very fiery tails!!!!woo hoo!!

The problem is, not so much the fact that time just keep goin’ on. What bothers me is that it seems to go by faster every year.

SmithRA, I don’t mind the clocks. Hate mirrors, though.

I agree with Marg…..Manliness has nothing to do with mirrors! All you guys are terrific.

ML, I have no problem with the manliness thing. It’s the handsome part. I don’t like the looks of the present manliness I see in the mirror. Mirrors are so cursed honest!! :-)))
