They’re just tucked up inside her helmet.

And that stool doesn’t have all 3 legs on one side.

You can see tell by the shadow of the seat.

I’ve warned her about letting her foot slide halfway off the seat but what can I say? She’s a daredevil.

And you’re right… in spite of all the talk around here… Cleo’s car is probably NOT a ’57 Studebaker.

Those who’ve known me from the old days of Ballard Street may remember that my dream car is a Studie… a ’56 or ’57 Golden Hawk…

a bit lower and leaner than this…. but even so, it’s not a shape I’d pick for a race car.

This one looks like a ‘62 Lark… I don’t think they made Larks in ’57… still not a shape for a race car…

But Cleo likes Studebakers… and I don’t think she drives Formula 1, anyway.

I almost thought that Cleo had the same number I used, but it looks like 01 not 0¢. How I came up with that number is kind of a long-ish story of my re-entry into short track racing.

I got eight fairly quick this morning. I’ll look for the last one later after my morning clients.

I studied and checked out all the nooks and crannies and still only got 8. The one I missed was pretty sneaky, Nighthawks!! You do a good job!

The loud groan you just heard was from Montana.

We must’ve found the same 8, Perky and Happy. I even counted the bumps and squiggles of the bushes! (and it only took less than 3 minutes!) But, number 9 was in a spot I didn’t even check out. Boy! That’ll teach me.

Loved Cleo’s transformation of the family car. Cleo must know the Indy 500 is coming up soon!

I’m stuck on eight too. Still better than the last two weeks!
