Same concept. Except that a helicopter implies self-piloting, where a drone is piloted by someone else. This doesn’t work if you overthink it.

Helicopter implies being open and visible. Drone implies being secretive, like the parents hiding behind the door.

My mother only checked when I was too quiet for a time. If she heard the usual ‘gunfire’ and horses neighing she knew I was healthy and having fun.
