I know a garbageguy and he actually enjoy his work. Dirty as it may be he takes pride in what he does and without him and his like where would your garbage go? Learn to respect the work done by those who clean up our streets and dispose of our garbage
I vividly remember when we first got our big St. Bernard. The garbage truck was coming through the alley and he took offense. He jumped up on our big double gate, barking furiously. As the gate sagged outward, both trash men climbed up to the top of that truck like it was a tall tree!
With the modern garbage trucks, the sanistation worker runs a big hazard of obesity. The modern trucks have an arm that picks up the can and dumps it in the truck. The worker doesn’t even leave his seat.

If you get a chance, folks, read Derf Backderf’s ‘Trashed’. (Or his book ‘My Friend Dahmer’)
