I remember seeing Gordie Howe score a goal while his teammate son was also on the ice.

There’s a lot of ‘em. The apple doesn’t fall far from the genetic tree. Add to that the boys regular presence among pro athletes and the access to top quality coaching and instruction, and those kids have a better chance at sports success than the average Joe.

Plus famous male athletes frequently marry (and/or have children with) famous female athletes, so you’ve got a nice little DNA piling up thing, which probably comes in handy.

Tank is the typical sports jock announcer who doesn’t know that the word should be “criterion,” singular, not “criteria,” plural.

We’ve yet to see if any of AP’s progeny will be winners.

Don’t forget Bobby and Brett Hull, lot of goals scored.

How about the scion of scion’s, The Sutter family’s dad. SIX brothers (Rich, Ron, Brian, Brent, Duane and, Darryl) played in the league and there are a smattering of their progeny currently playing professionally.

Sutter clan wins, hands down.
