No offense but I get a little tired of that refrain. The rules weren’t changed just before he entered the race. The so-call Super Delegates that his followers cries about has been in place long before now. Most of the States, not all I’m sure but most of the States voting rules have been in place before now. This is a Democratic Party process not an Independent Party one which he has been officially all these years. If he didn’t like the set up, he should have cried foul before the process started, not during it once he was losing. Or better yet just run as the Third Party Independent candidate that he truly is. I really used to like Bernie a lot, but he has done more to turn me completely off than to support him. And his ardent followers are looking more to be the flip side of Trump followers. Just this one man’s opinion, nothing more.

In fact even if all the states had open elections she’d still be ahead. I notice that you’re fine with the undemocratic caucuses, which is where he won most of his victories.

mugensThen you would say Stalin was democratically elected because he followed the same rules as Lenin and Molitov before him, or Hitler was constitutional because Hindenberg asked him to form a government and he did?

That’ what I’m getting at. Start their own party if they so choose. Just don’t stir up the pot mid-stream. If he had complained a lot before this started I wouldn’t have a problem. To do so now when you know how the rules are and then cry about it is just pathetic. Again just this man’s opinion which I hope I’m still allowed.

So… you think that political parties should be forced to let people who are NOT members of the party pick who gets to represent that party in an election? I get to have a say in who the Green party runs?

The Greens, the Libertarians, the Constitution Party, and several others would disagree.

Hey, Carmen,Donnie is trying to signal to the establishment Republicans that he doesn’t really want to be president. Newt or Chris or Sarah or whoever will do the presidential stuff and Donnie will be the celebrity spokesmodel. You could grasp that pathetic fig leaf and support Donnie, but my suggestion is go with Opus and Bill the Cat. Cartoon characters need to stick together.

Are you being “left out” of the UK elections since they won’t let you vote if you aren’t a citizen?.The primaries are INTERNAL to the specific parties. You can still vote for whoever you want in the actual election, but if you are not a Democrat/Republican/Libertarian/Green/Raving Monster Loony Party (OK, they’re British, but still…) then you don’t get to decide who the Democratic/Republican/Libertarian/Green party chooses to endorse. Get it?.If enough non-PETA members showed up at a National PETA meeting, would they be entitled to change the name to People Eating Tasty Animals?

I read your initial comment about Independents as implying that there were really only two possible parties. In hindsight, I misread your intent and see what you meant now.
