You two didn’t live in time we did.
My grandmother lived out in the panhandle of Texas and they still did those through most of the 80’s.
I used to love saving those as a kid. S&H green stamps. They even had a store that you could go to to redeem them! They had all kinds of neat stuff!
Yeah, and the S&H ones even tasted good.
I used to belong to a blue chip bowling league. Got blue chip stamps for every strike or spare.
Reminds me of a TV show I saw way back when, where one of the characters said that he spent months sticking stamps into books, but he only ever bought one thing – something that would automatically moisten the stamps for hem
We had Green Stamps and Gold Bond Stamps. But, we used a damp sponge to put them in the books.
