I had quite a lot of adults in my childhood that tried to hammer it into my head that I have no power as a minor. Orwellian behaviors on the adult’s part aside, how are the children going to practice for when the day comes when they actually get power?

I used to wear those slanted plastic glasses like those Millie wears with the lens missing. Charity said I looked my mom’s chatty neighbor!
