Red: You're right, it doesn't seem to be a normal rock- It must be a dinosaur bone! Stay there, I'll be right back with a pick and shovel! Rover: Not so fast! Remember that TV special we watched all about dinosaurs? The museum people used special tools to excavate with. Red: Fine use your special claws to dig it out. Rover: Too sharp, you bite your nails- use your fingers.

Awesome story this week…my students love dinosaurs and are doing a unit study on them. I’ve been bringing RED & ROVER to them every day
