A statement by Trump is 260% more likely to be false than a statement by Secretary Clinton.Hillary is 1150% more likely to make a factual statement than Trump. (FYI This is not a typo — that is 1150%, or one-thousand one-hundred and fifty percent) The less-true something is, the less-apt Hillary is to say it. On the other hand, Trump seems to prefer untruths to truths. If you’re interested, Bernie and Hillary fared similarly. Both made false statements 13% of the time. And Hillary is actually a touch more likely to tell the truth (23% to Sanders’ 15%)… though the difference may not be statistically significant due to the smaller size of the Sanders sample (96 statements rated versus Hillary’s 199).

Just confirmation bias, Crow. Of course DailyKos is going to say that. 13 minutes of Hillary lies on YouTube. Watch it. She is pathological. Trump is merely misinformed on some things.

It seems since there is now longer an objective news source that both parties trust, the only other sources are biased and can’t be trusted?

Trump has said as much that in addition to low information voters he loves the uneducated, his actual words. But of course he loves them since they’re casting their votes for someone very ill equipped to serve as President of the USA. He does know how to dodge paying taxes, file numerous lawsuits & declare bankruptcy to avoid paying his debt obligations to investors & creditors

There is a list of some independent news souces here that seem to be objective.“A poll done by the Pew Research Center, in September of 2011, found that, “Fully 66% (of the public) say news stories often are inaccurate, 77% think that news organizations tend to favor one side, and 80% say news organizations are often influenced by powerful people and organizations.” A more recent Gallup poll, taken in September of 2015, showed that 60% of Americans still do not trust the mass media to deliver the news fully, accurately and fairly.”http://hubpages.com/literature/A-Real-Need-for-the-Real-News

Yes, establishment sources. I’ll have you know that I personally am acquainted with an incident covered on PBS Frontline, and I contend that the purpose of these news sources is obfuscation and confusion, not clarity. I’ve seen it in practice.

Eric Hoffer states that mass movements begin with a widespread “desire for change” from discontented people who place their locus of control outside their power and who also have no confidence in existing culture or traditions. Feeling their lives are “irredeemably spoiled” and believing there is no hope for advancement or satisfaction as an individual, true believers seek “self-renunciation.” Thus, such people are ripe to participate in a movement that offers the option of subsuming their individual lives in a larger collective.

The “New Poor” are the most likely source of converts for mass movements/for they recall their former wealth with resentment and blame others for their current misfortune.

In mass movements, an individual’s goals or opinions are unimportant. Rather, the mass movement’s “chief preoccupation is to foster, perfect and perpetuate a facility for united action and self-sacrifice.”

“There are, of course, rare leaders such as Lincoln, Gandhi, even F.D.R., Churchill, and Nehru. They do not hesitate to harness man’s hungers and fears to weld a following and make it zealous unto death in service of a holy cause; but unlike a Hitler, a Stalin, or even a Luther and a Calvin, they are not tempted to use the slime of frustrated souls as mortar in the building of a new world…. They know that no one can be honorable unless he honors mankind”."

Republicans think everything in the left panel is truth and the right panel is a lie. They want opinions to be facts, therefore anything can be true. This is why they elected Trump, and don’t see anything wrong with it.
