A trait I inherited from my Dad ( much to my shock and surprise ) was The Look & The Point .
My Dad wasn’t one to raise his voice, scream and yell ( that was Mom’s job ). He just would fix his eyes on you and point directly at you.
There was something about that glare that said it all !
I have effectively used this technique myself, with kids, grandkids, and disobedient dogs.
