I can’t imagine what Kevin’s bucket head would look when Kevin pretends to be tall.

Their imaginations must be connected if they can see the same thing. By the way Alice, when we grow, our heads don’t get smaller, it’s just that the body grows faster than the head.

Once again, Richard posted a blog entry for just this strip.

Dill’s head looks just the right size for Dill, at least to my eyes, Alice….

It’s very sweet that Dill & Alice are so attuned to one another – so simpatico, that she can tell when he’s pretending to be whatever. Is there any doubt these two are destined for romance?

Now I’m imagining Dill as a teenager . . .

I love it that Alice’s head angle never changes; seeming to look at Dill’s knees when he’s “tall.” She sees the reality while recognizing he’s pretending, and we see him from his own point of view. Brilliant cartooning.

Is it just me, or does Dill look like the Big Friendly Giant from the movie BFG?
