Or it meant that neanderthal women had more to give, and “human” (considering both lines are defined human, so a dumb thing to differentiate with) women was what they had to settle with.
…except for people with purely African DNA, that DNA is purely human. Interbreeding with neanderthals occurred in Europe and Asia after homo sapiens had migrated out of Africa.
