    I said this yesterday about the subway as they were improving the signals, causing delays in arrivals and departures.

    What I’ve never been able to grok is the 2 miles of cones forming a single lane ending with 100 feet of work going on… or at least some guys leaning on actual shovels. And, of course, there is always some numb nut that just has to go 15 MPH under the already ridiculously slow speed limit set for the single lane, just to take arrogant and stupid to a whole other level.

    Looks like Illinois – miles of orange barrels, cement barriers, and detour signs. But rarely do you actually see a work crew.
