I only use these when it’s unavoidable. Why should I be an unpaid worker so the multi-millions corporation can avoid hiring people who need these jobs?
That’s one of the reasons I avoid self checkouts because they’re a total PITA! They always get a glitch and say “HELP IS ON THE WAY”! And especially when you have a lot of groceries, annoying and aggravating is putting it mildly!
And also by the time help arrives, FIVE PEOPLE with shopping carts overflowing with stuff at the cashier’s aisle have checked out and are walking out of the store!
I don’t use those. Every time I do, they hang up, and someone has to come over, anyway, to fix it, so, I might’s well just go to a register, and save someone a trip.

One of my concerns using those machines. Then you need to check your bill and maybe either go back to the cashier or customer service
