New legislation, approved by 72% of the governing body accepting funding from the tree farmers lobbying groups, mandates that all cars must run on pine cones by the year 2019. New technologies to gassify pine cones for use in internal combustion engines has been ordered developed by a Senate Sub-committee on renewable energies. Funding will come from a “Fair Share” tax on all automotive products equal to the un-taxed value of those products.

From WESH Channel 2 News in Florida:“A young visitor to Sequoia and Kings Canyon Park in California is apologizing after taking a pine cone home, UPI reports. The visitor, appearing to be a child, delivered the cone and a written apology back to the park after clearly feeling some remorse. The national park posted a photo of the note and cone to its Facebook page. The park accepted the apology, saying they were glad the young person did the right thing and thought about the consequences of disrupting the park’s preservation efforts.”

While Tommy was mulling that over, and trying to decide whether he should report it, or let it go and maybe even consider that it might be true, Tarina got up and headed for the door, saying, “We’ll have his whole network, support groups and financial backing before quitting time. Keep him cycling and bump the trans-cranial current point oh-two milliamps. I’m going to go have a salad and an iced tea. We’ll finish when I get back. It shouldn’t take more than fifteen minutes. Maybe we can even knock off early. There are three things you need to know about enhanced interrogation that they don’t teach in IPC schools. One; Brazil was just a movie. Nobody ever really escapes because there is no escape. Two; anybody can be broken. When you look under the hood, most people want to help and be useful, and will eventually serve their tormentor through love or fear. When there is no good in them, there is still plenty of mean and stupid to be used. And three; everybody talks. With enough voltage, a cloud connects to the ground through a massive air gap. All it takes is elevated motivation and repressed resistance. Anything they taught you to the contrary is psycho-babble pap based on elevated concepts that avoid reality wherever possible. These are facts. They are not open to negotiation. Hey, do you want me to bring back something to drink? I’m buying.”
