“Adult” does not mean swearing. It canjust be suggestive of adult behavior such as couples doing what couples doing, There are people who find almost everything offensive & “shield” their children from anything THEY deem offensive. That is why the disclaimer. It is NOT fraud. If you don’t like the terms, don’t do it, but stp telling other people they can’t enjoy things just because you don’t like it.

Ziggy, take that old TV to a recycling center. Then get a modern LCD TV. They don’t have any problems that are unique to old CRT based sets.

This reminds me of the time I got new eyeglasses and I went back to tell them something was wrong with them. The receptionist told me my ears were crooked was why I was having a problem, nothing wrong with the glasses! Went in to the eye dr and he discovered that one of the lenses was completely wrong and had to be redone. Crooked ears my eye!

More than likely he was attempting to watch The Outer Limits…

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We can reduce the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to… The Outer Limits.

If you are under 50, you do not remember horizontal hold. There was an analog horizontal hold control on the old stone-age TVs that you had to adjust manually. Those TVs had the funny metal rods on top called antennas.
