Yeah… paper pretty much is pulp…mostly wood, sometimes with fibers such as linen, silk, or these days, synthetics, added. This one must be a rougher grind.Ouch!

Somewhere there’s a mouth-breather who would buy it. Once.

I had to use some like that in Germany in the 70s. It was quite a rude, uh, awakening.

In the 60’s, tourists going to the USSR were advised to take their own toilet paper. Then again, only the white man would think of using a wood product on the most sensitive body parts. How long before we se legal commercials that claim microsplinters cause some disease?

Unprocessed, unbleached sawdust pressed into thin sheets. No thanx, I’ll ‘pass’…

Living in Tripoli, Libya, many years ago, when my father was stationed there…we took turns hosting bingo games with our RAF and USAF neighbors. American toilet paper was far from what it is today…but a 4 roll package of it was one of the grand prizes in our games…always the first chosen if an English person won.Theirs came in packets, and was reminiscent of that thin waxed paper you pick up a donut with in the bakery.
