Sheila was added into the strip as I went. And yes, the previous colorist made her, I dunno… Asian, Hispanic, Islander, Well Tanned- whatever you like best. She’s not on The Buckets’ coloring sheet, so he colored her the way he liked. By the time we realized she was a recurring character, we also had a new colorist (Frank) who also didn’t have Sheila on the coloring sheet I sent to the syndicate all those years ago. So, yeah- she used to have darker skin. I should probably add her, Garry, Steve, Larry’s coworker Mike and a few others to the sheet.

I figured she just had that mysterious “skin disease” like Michael Jackson. ;>)

Vitiligo isn’t mysterious. We know a lot about it. Read something besides the comics once in a while.
