It’s not so bad if you have the right attitude. Alas, the above does not exhibit said attitude.

It may be hard and unfair but at least it is equal. Everyone gets their parade rained on at some time during their life….

The problem isn’t that life is unfair, it’s that people only consider fairness when they think they got the short end.

Pity that the credits are hardly visible or readable.

The humans messed it up – mirror image!

Casting bassets in The Big Nap should have won an award by itself! Bravo! Two thumbs up with a twist!

    Oooh…. it’s “The Big Nap!”

    Thank you, Stel!

I’m talking about the September 3rd  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”, of course… on Sherpa.

    I love Humphrey GoBark movies.

This one is sooo complicated. I haven’t seen it in years…

so I was pretty young… but I remember being very confused by the plot.

You couldn’t be confused, though, when Gobark and Barkall were onscreen together.

They could barely keep their tails from wagging…

    Actually, they were already mates….

even though she was still practically a puppy, and Gobie was more than twice her age..

They’d done their first film together when she was, legally, still a pup…

and married either before or during the filming of “The Big Nap.”

They even named their first puppy after Gobie’s character’s nickname in this film.

Humans don’t nap as intently as dogs….

so they called their copydog version “The Big Sleep.”

In the poster Tigressy linked to, the human female doesn’t even have purplie eye shadow.

What kind of glamour is that?

Funny… it took several commenters, 10 years ago, to even mention Toby, the dog…

while I’d taken him to be the focus of the strip…

I thought Howard was addressing his remark TO the forlorn dog….

who is probably whining to go for a walk.

He obviously doesn’t like being tied to the porch while his so-called “Master” reads the paper.

Exactly like my father, when one of us kids would whine that something wasn’t fair…

He’d say “Yep. Life sure isn’t fair, is it?”

    Purplie is soooooo 2017.

You should show you’re a hip, “with it,” cool chic chick of the New Roaring 20s, @StillTheBelle, by giving Cleo some ink, some piercings, maybe a Mohawk, some vaping accoutrements, a personalized muzzle covering, Etcetera, Etcetera, Etcetera …

Gobark and Barkall…..how romantic they were! You could always count on her being Sassy, and him being Ruff. Loved them together, and, Stel captured them as they truly were.
