The vast majority of those registered to vote don’t and then they complain about those in office. If you don’t vote you can’t complain, or shouldn’t be allowed to do so.

If I wanted political humor, I would have gone to the political cartoon side. Way to insult half your audience. I’m gone

If this strip is going to get into divisive politics it’ll be time to drop it from my list. Maybe Cagle can pick up OtH for his site.

“Way to insult half your audience”? Considering how much people dislike both candidates I’d say this insults 6, maybe 7 people at the most.

oh heck, they all say what they think we want to hear. And they all say the other guy is going to ruin the country/ state/ city… no wonder we never want to vote.

We will have to hold our nose and squeeze really hard to vote this year. After Hillery’s indictment we may feel the Bern too!! Of course I like the Libertarian who at least admits to swallowing the eatables, unlike someone who did not inhale. What a deal!

So much hate. Political cartoons aren’t his strong suit. While comics are simpleton fare at their root, they don’t need to display simpleton mentality.

jacquelinI don’t recall you being here in the first place, so I doubt I’ll miss you. Bye..echoravenOnly if they remain lumps. Otherwise, their only exception is that they get a paragraph on the police blotter and off to prison rather than front page story on a corrupt judge. At least i have encountered you before.

I can’t believe how many of the 1% read this comic to be offended by it, or maybe it’s all the stooges the 1% employ to do there trolling.

Ok, you keep dumping on Trump, so when are you gonna start dumping on Clinton. Goodness knows, there is plenty of subject matter.

HEY—you’re smart enough to be funny without making it political. I don’t give a rat’s ass who you’re for or against. Just keep it OUT of a usually very good strip. Or esle move it to the op-ed pages. It’s a COMIC strip, not a COMMENTARY!

All cartoonists do commentary. I remember a cartoonists’ convention in which some members organized an attack on Walt Kelly for his opposition to McCarthyism. Al Capp, with the distraction of a statutory rape charge and fascist tendencies (Harlow Curtiss character had changed from villain to hero), went down the line of the attackers: Milt Caniff, military superiority over civilian; Chic Young, men inferior to women and bosses; and so on until all were branded. And some editorial cartoonists have a great since of humor beyond satire.
