GRAND AVENUE BY STEVE BREEN & MIKE THOMPSON Michael: Grandma says she's getting out the math workbooks later today. Gabby: Ugh! I hate those math workbooks! Michael: We'll need a distraction. Gabby: I know! First, we'll dig a giant hole in the backyard. Gabby: Then, we'll roll one of those huge boulders from Mr. Sanders' garden into the hole. Gabby: Then we'll jump and scream about how a giant meteor landed in our backyard! Gabby: In all the excitement, Grandma will forget all about the math workbooks. Michael: Your plan is exhausting. Gabby: It takes a lot of work to get out of work.
