Actually, you may have to pay the pawn shop what they paid for it to get it back unless you go through small claims court and the judge rules in your favor, (and then you still have to pay court cost). I had to buy a gun back that way 17 years after it had been stolen when it turned up in a pawn shop and the police called me. Stinks.

Quick, call the police! The pawn shop will have to return it to you at no cost. Because it is stolen goods!!
