If I waited to wash the dishes al final del dia , they’d never get done !My wife will tell you, she hates doing dishes. That chore falls to me. And since I also do the cooking during the week, I do a lot of washing up.

I grew up before the days of electric dishwashers. My Mom taught me very early on how to properly wash, rinse, dry, and put away the dishes and pots & pans. Both my parents worked, so it was expected that my brother and I would help out around the house – and NO , we didn’t get an_allowence_ for doing our daily chores …but there were consequences if we didn’t. At the End of the Day they had better be done !

Procrastination always makes the job take longer to finish.

Sounds like my teen daughter, which is why at the end of the day she loses her electronics until chores are complete.
